Work and Pensions Select Committee Plan for Jobs and Employment Support report Published
The Work and Pensions Select Committee Plan for Jobs and Employment Support report has been
published with several recommendations closely aligned to those set out in the written evidence
submitted by Disability@Work, the verbal evidence given to the Committee by Disability@Work’s
Kim Hoque; and with the Disability Employment Charter.
Disability@Work’s Kim Hoque addressed the FCDO’s celebration of the 15 th anniversary of the
United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities highlighting the stubbornly high
disability employment gap and the widening disability pay gap. He called upon attendees to work
together to map out a more inclusive future for disabled people.

Nick Bacon of D@W is part of the RSA Inclusive Work, Disability and Ageing Network Steering Group which has proposed a system of flexible working that works for everybody.
