Disability@Work give evidence to the House of Lords Public Services Committee

Kim Hoque has appeared as a witness on the House of Lords Public Services Committee’s inquiry into the transition from education into employment for young disabled people.

The discussion covered the barriers young disabled people experience in getting into employment, as well as policy solutions including Access to Work, Disability Confident, Disabled Students Allowance, supported internships, apprenticeships, and Individual Placement and Support, and also the role of the Disability Employment Charter, of which Disability@Work is a founder member, in
pushing forward reform in several of these areas.
