APPG for Disability backs disability@work proposals for a disability inclusive response to the COVID-19 recession 

Our proposals for a disability inclusive response to the COVID-19 recession have received backing from the APPG for Disability. The APPG has forwarded the brief to the Minister for Disabled People, and Kim Hoque and Lisa Cameron MP (Chair APPG for Disability) will be meeting the Minister to discuss the proposals. disability@work have also discussed the brief with the Prime Minister’s special adviser for disability, and are also presenting it to the Cabinet Office’s Disability Unit and a cross-government meeting at which the DWP, HM Treasury, Department for Transport, BEIS, DFIT, Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Ministry of Defence will also be in attendance.
