A day of presentations workshops and debate with leading researchers, policy-makers, practitioners, lawyers and disability advocacy groups providing an opportunity to map a route towards using and developing evidence to address disability gaps in employment and the experience of work in the context of Improving Lives – The Work Health and Disability Green Paper . Topics covered include:

  • Measuring and monitoring the disability employment gap
  • Recognising and measuring disability gaps in the experience of work (pay, job satisfaction and fair treatment)
  • Understanding barriers caused by employer behaviour
  • Identifying supports in terms of third party (unions, occupational health and rehabilitation professionals) input and expertise
